Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meter
Product Introduction
Overview
The Doppler flow meter, based on the Doppler ultrasound principle, is capable of functioning as a river flow meter, sewer flow meter, channel flow meter, irrigation flow meter, or non-full pipe flow meter depending on the specific application. Unlike an electromagnetic flowmeter, it does not necessitate the installation of a pipe section sensor or require the use of a diversion device or fixed weir to regulate water outflow from a fixed outlet. This versatile instrument can accurately measure both clear and turbid water flows as well as reverse flow velocities.
Application
It is widely used in industrial, hydraulic, irrigation, municipal and other industries, and is suitable for flow measurement in full-pipe, non-full-pipe, open channels, and sewers.
Features
• Based on DWI drainage smart telemetry terminal, imported multi-layered sensor development
• Adopting the speed-area method for flow measurement, with no head loss and no need for standard weir channels
• No mechanical rotating parts, so there are no problems with sediment blockage or waterweed, debris entanglement
• Wide voltage power supply, low power consumption, no mechanical parts
• Has the advantages of accurate measurement, high precision, stability, high reliability, and strong resistance to interference
• Measurement types: flow speed, liquid level, temperature, instantaneous flow, accumulated flow (optional)
• Measurement method: continuous online
• Optional: self-cleaning ultrasonic flowmeter (integrated automatic cleaning device - compressed air cleaning probe)
