DWI has developed a new portable sewer flow monitoring device that is suitable for high accuracy temporary flow monitoring requirements in municipal sewage drainage networks. The device is easy to install and remove, provides timely data acquisition, and has reliable measurement accuracy. It is also equipped with the Drainage Calculator calculation app, which is an effective tool for analyzing mixed connections and leaks in municipal sewage pipes, and provides strong support for the analysis of sewage pipe "infiltration and inflow".

Overview
The measurement system consists of a portable integrated control box, airbag inflation device, closed airbag, and flow measurement system. The flow measurement is performed by a high-precision electromagnetic flowmeter. The measurement device integrates a closed airbag, which can be conveniently installed at a circular cross-section measurement point and usually does not require excavation to be installed in existing infrastructure. The airbag completely encloses the pipe cross-section and guides all the water through the measurement system, forming a backwater at the outlet bend to create a full-pipe flow, allowing for precise measurement in scenarios with small flows and non-full-pipe flows.
Note: When the water flow is too high, the airbag will automatically deflate to prevent pipe blockage in emergency situations.
